My bespoke items always go down a storm. I enjoy working with the customer to make something very special and personal, there have even been customer tears. Seeing my work spark emotion in my customers is really fulfilling.
For example, one client asked for a rugby player, but in a wheelchair and with amputations. It was a gift for her husband who was in the GB rugby team who had won gold in the Tokyo Paralympics in 2021. I learned that he had lost both his legs on his fourth tour of Afghanistan in an explosion.
I told the story of this brave, inspirational man to my boys who were wide-eyed with wonder, an absolute honour to have designed this one!
